ABOUT THE PROJECT

The project goals was to create a prototype app that connects your phone to all of your smart kitchen appliances and provide different types of meals that can be made, such as dinner, drinks, snacks and lunches. This product provides a well designed layout on what is connecting to the device and how exactly it can create different meals for the user. Being lazy is a selling point and by creating a device that can provide food and drinks at the touch of a button is something that most people would love to have.

ABOUT THE TREND

Smart kitchen is designed to help people in the kitchen chores such as, dishwashing, cooking, cleaning etc. The purpose of this trend is to help people do all the kitchen related chores electronically. It is more useful for the people who are busy in their daily lives and aren’t able to step into kitchen as much. It is very convenient and requires less time for a person to spend in kitchen doing all the related chores. This trend will come in to a massive use in few years because of its functionality. Smart home technology is still being used by many people in their homes. It is being developed in the industry more and more with each passing year.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The application works by connecting the user’s phone to the dock, after placing your phone inside of the dock, it brings up the app that will connect your kitchen devices to your phone. After a brief second the app will determine all the possible food combinations it can create and give you options to select what you would like made. After you select the type of food you're craving the rest is automated. The app will automatically control all of the smart appliances and create a meal for you with just a touch of a button.

  • The automate parts of the appliances keeps you updated about the progression of cooking

  • The app displays all the correct proportions of the ingredients 

  • The app uses wired probes to monitor the temperature of the dishes that is being cooked. 

  • The app lets user to control or adjust settings of the appliances through phone, and starts cooking whenever the person wants.
